The magnification associated with far-reaching, shadow-free lighting translates into the quality of the treatments we perform.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #6483a0;\"><strong>Expansion in Endodontics:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #6483a0;\">Before the introduction of the optical microscope, magnifying glasses were the only means of magnification available. Although they improve visual acuity, they have numerous limitations.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #6483a0;\">Without a microscope, endodontic treatments are carried out in the dark, with radiography as an aid in diagnosis and treatment, which in turn is not as accurate as it only shows two dimensions of a three-dimensional object. At The Oral Lab we also have CBCT (cone beam computed tomography) available as a diagnostic aid that makes treatment safer, substantially increasing success rates.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #6483a0;\"><strong>Benefits:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #6483a0;\">Magnification up to 32 times: the microscope increases the field of view and allows the endodontist to see very detailed images, improving the quality of treatment.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #6483a0;\">Optimized lighting: the microscope has its own light that improves image definition, allowing excellent visualization of the area to be treated.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #6483a0;\">Documentation through images of the intervention area that allows the patient to communicate the details of the treatment<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #6483a0;\">High magnification is necessary to assist in the total removal of caries, localization of calcified canals, detect microfractures, assist in the removal of fractured instruments inside the tooth.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #6483a0;\">The microscope also allows the detection of accessory canals, which are narrower and difficult or impossible to locate without magnification, thus allowing the disinfection of the entire canalicular system, improving the long-term prognosis of endodontic treatment.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #6483a0;\">The Microscope is essential equipment in certain more differentiated treatments such as: <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #6483a0;\">Non-Surgical Endodontic Retreatment: teeth already devitalized that need to be retreated. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #6483a0;\">Removal of Fractured Instruments and Spikes<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #6483a0;\">Perforation Treatment<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #6483a0;\">Treatment of Roots with Immature Apex (Teeth not yet fully formed).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #6483a0;\"><strong>Expansion in Oral Rehabilitation<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #6483a0;\">From diagnosis to treatment, the precision of technical gestures determines a superior quality of work, resulting in excellent results.
